Ross and Cromarty Open Show

This is what makes the journeying worthwhile!
The photographs are by Morag Webster (Logie Bear & Chums).

The BIS judge was Mrs. Leanne Lewis (Graylea) whose mother had owned the famous Baluch papillons, many of whom went abroad and did really well. At home she won BOB at Crufts in 1967 and '68 with Baluch Little Shenandoah, (who had markings very similar to Swallow, apparently!)

Well, you learn something new every day, as they say. I had never heard of Leanne Lewis, but it is interesting to know of someone else who has been, still is, or has a connection with the breed. Swallow, you are a little star.

Well done all, especially Swallow. A day to remember. Pity I missed it!
