In preparation for his first competition little Nuri had a quick dip in the sink and then underwent a gentle blow-dry. He was fairly co-operative compared to some previous pups who turned into little dervishes at the sight of water and dryer.
Both he and George won through the first round of the knockout competition but were out in the second. Both behaved remarkably well and made not a sound all evening as we sat round the hall watching proceedings then enjoying cakes and sandwiches to finish off. Needless to say I won nothing in the raffle.
The judge for the evening was Marion Gray (Evarclasi Cavaliers) from Carnoustie.
